The association is open to all social anthropologists qualified or working in or on Cyprus, either in academic environments or in applied anthropology. Any person aged 18 or over who agrees with the aims and objectives of the Association, as defined in its Statute, can apply for membership.
Members are classified as regular, student, or honorary members.
Regular membership is available to:
(a) graduates of undergraduate, postgraduate, or doctoral programs in Social and/or Cultural Anthropology, or related departments with a recognized field in Social and/or Cultural Anthropology;
(b) individuals who teach Social/Cultural Anthropology in university departments in Cyprus or abroad; and
(c) those who have demonstrated a substantial contribution to Social/Cultural Anthropology through published or research work, including multimodal outputs such as ethnographic films, visual anthropology, artistic practices, or other multimodal anthropological work.
Student membership is open to:
(a) students currently enrolled in undergraduate programs in Social/Cultural Anthropology;
(b) students enrolled in postgraduate or doctoral programs in Social or Cultural Anthropology who have not yet completed their studies and who do not already hold an undergraduate degree in Social or Cultural Anthropology from Cyprus or abroad.
Honorary membership may be awarded in accordance with the provisions of the Statute.
